Jane retired from AT&T as a telephone operator, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Valley, enjoyed fishing, tending to her African violets, watching sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, and old westerns, and read up on history. She loved being with her family and cooking some of her delicious creations for them.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Strib; brothers; Donnie Doles and Johnnie Frank Doles, and sisters; Anne Doles Duke and Evelyn Doles Wilson.
