GB News appoints Helen Warner as head of TV amid expansion plans
GB News has appointed Helen Warner as head of television as part of plans to expand its existing programming and develop new formats, the broadcaster said.
Arner is currently the creative director of Whisper, having joined the audiovisual production agency in 2020.
She was previously daytime manager at ITV and Channel 4, where she commissioned and produced popular shows such as Come Dine With Me, Loose Women and Good Morning Britain.
Warner said: “GB News impressed me from the start, and its accomplishments in just over a year have been phenomenal.
“I look forward to helping him take his programming to the next level and really cement his place in the broadcasting landscape.”
Her projects while at Whisper include securing Sir Sam Mendes for the new Amazon Prime documentary about England cricket captain Ben Stokes and The Beauty Rewind Clinic TV series for UKTV.
She is also the author of five novels including the Sunday Times bestseller RSVP which was published in 2011 and she recently published a psychological thriller titled She.
